TROFIE WITH PESTO, POTATOES AND BEANS

INGREDIENTS FOR 4 SERVINGS

  • 500 ml of water
  • 320 g of trofie
  • 100 g of beans
  • 75 g of pesto alla genovese
  • 50 g of potatoes
  • 2 spoonfuls of extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ teaspoonful of salt
  • 4 aluminum trays, 0,5 l

Trofie with pesto, potatoes and beans is a delicious first course from the Ligurian kitchen.
Thanks to the LIFE domestic blast chiller you will be able to prepare it in just a few minutes. When you have time prepare the trofie, freeze it with LIFE in the aluminium trays, preserve them in the freezer and when you want to serve them pop them into a frying pan or steam oven. You will have a tasty, home-made, healthy dish, of the highest quality.

PREPARATION

Cut the beans and potatoes into small pieces.

Place the trofie in the steam oven, add the water and salt, extra virgin olive oil, the potatoes, beans and the frozen pesto alle genovese (prepared earlier). Cook for 12 minutes in the steam oven at 100°C. Alternatively, it is possible to boil the trofie in salted water.

Pre-cool the LIFE blast chiller to -15°C.

When cooked, mix the trofie with the sauce and place into the aluminium containers in equal parts
Start the cycle DEEP FREEZING>PASTA>DRY PASTA

After the program has finished place it on to the trays and preserve  them in the freezer

When you want to serve the trofie place it on a plate and cook in the steam oven for 9 minutes. Alternatively, heat in a frying pan with 3 spoonfuls of water.
